How do you follow the lifecycle of deployment with exoCollaborative?

I mean management of configuration files during dev/test/acc/prod phase?

Do we have to replace the *xml config file after every deployment or there is a way to store the db/jms/ldap configuration outside the sar file or any other procedure?

In dev phase we don't modify the eXo sar/ear archive, we externalize the configuration in order to customize the eXo products.
